hi,
I just installed "christmas" version of your smart add-on, but I have the same old problem adding carts:
1) itouch (v3.1) -> gmail contacts: OK (imap)
2) itouch -> tb: OK
2) tb -> gmail contacts (imap): OK
3) tb -> itouch: no adds..
I synchronized all with CalDav (gcalendar (works fine) & gcontacts).
Is a itouch/caldav problem?
If I sync with exchange all (instead of caldav) I lost my gcalendar?
thanks

Hi and I just want to say this is a great add on. The issue I am having is that the search function only seems to be searching the email addresses and not the names. Can you help me with this?

I figured it out. I imported my Google contacts from another program and the names ended up under the organization heading and apparently the search function in Thunderbird does not search that field. Is there any work around for this that you know of? Thank you in advance.

To Mike

Unfortunately, Thunderbird searches cards only by email and name. And I don't have any workarounds.

h.ogi - Thanks for your great work.

I use this add-in and it works for me.

Maybe I just naturally work around if there were sync issues, but not something to stop be using your add-in.

Thanks!

Hi, nice work guy..
I've followed your isntruction but I still have a problem in managing groups..
It would be great to get rid of the default gmail groups.. but I know it's not possible at the moment..
anyway I've tried a workaround by setting to sync only contact from a specific group.. it works but if I create another group/list I can't see the contact I move inside it because while gmail support multigroup labeled contact the addon do not and continue to create the same group in gmail each time it starts (if I do not choose to delete the list when prompted..)
.. so how can I show only the group I need in the shared addressbook? and get rid of the other default gmail groups?

thanks
d.

Great Add-on, but I keep running into problems with duplicates being created. My users are Google Apps users, so that may have something to do with it.

I receive a great number of contacts duplicate (more than 10.000!!!). Is there any way to get the rid about this?
thanks
